Focus areas for funding

We have identified three specific areas of focus that will be given priority in our sponsorship funding decisions:

Senior health initiatives

Programs that support seniors by providing access to care including behavioral health resources, safety in their homes and communities, and access to food and utilities. Examples include:

  • Caregiver support services
  • Transportation to medical appointments
  • Healthy living programs
  • Falls/community/home safety
  • Access to nutritious foods/mobile pantries and markets/Meals on Wheels

Children and youth health initiatives

Fallon supports community-based programs or organizations that provide access to programs that wrap services and resources around children and youth.

Priority will be given to programs that work collaboratively to engage their communities as key stakeholders committed to finding solutions that positively impact the children and youth in the communities they serve, and that utilize both evidence-based/informed and innovative models to impact change. Examples include:

  • Programs that provide access to care
  • Family support services
  • Behavioral health
  • Transportation to access services
  • Programs that address community safety initiatives
  • Safe outdoor spaces
  • Environmental issues
  • Programs that seek solutions to address economic stability
