The outreach effort, which includes having nutritious food and healthy items delivered to homes, will focus on helping those members most at risk of, and most impacted by, the coronavirus including those in certain Fallon programs for individuals over the age of 65.

“One year after the pandemic began, our members, like many, are feeling the emotional fatigue of having to deal with the constant threat of illness,” said Richard Burke, President and CEO of Fallon Health. “At Fallon, our mission is making our communities healthy—physically and emotionally. It is our sincere hope that these meals and care packages will provide a sense of comfort during these challenging times.”

“Throughout the pandemic we have stayed connected to our members,” said Deb Daviau, VP Medicare and Executive Director NaviCare for Fallon Health. “Getting out of the house, even to run essential errands, is still a frightening thought for many who may be at higher risk of COVID-19 due to their age and health status. By making these special deliveries, we are able to help them continue to meet their health needs from the safety of their homes.”

Staggered over the coming weeks, approximately 21,000 eligible NaviCare® and Fallon Medicare Plus™ members will receive the following:
