Fallon Community Health Plan appoints David M. Jachimiak to Chief Information Officer

Worcester, Mass., July 21, 2011― Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP), a nationally recognized health care services organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of David M. Jachimiak to Chief Information Officer. In this role, Jachimiak will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of FCHP’s Information Technology operations.

A key element of this role is to provide strategic leadership in planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining technology and information systems that support the business goals of FCHP and the needs of the communities it serves.

Before joining FCHP, Jachimiak was the Vice President of Information Systems at LifeNet Health, a leading life sciences organization located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Prior to that, he was Chief Information Officer at First Boston Pharma, in Gloucester. Jachimiak also served as Senior Vice President of Information Systems at Allmerica Financial, in Worcester, Mass.

Jachimiak holds a bachelor of science degree in management and economics, and a master’s degree in business administration from Niagara University in New York.
