Fallon Community Health Plan continues popular discount program through 2010
Members can save up to $180 at local family fun spots
Worcester, Mass., April 29, 2010―As the current economic environment may have families reconsidering how to spend their weekends and summer vacation, Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP) today announced that it will continue its popular Family Fun discount program through 2010.
Introduced in 2009, Family Fun offers FCHP members savings of up to $180 through free child admissions and other discounts at museums, zoos, whale watching, indoor rock climbing and other family-oriented places that encourage a healthy lifestyle through the end of the year. Since the program launched in June 2009, FCHP members have downloaded discount coupons totaling more than $50,000 in savings.
“It’s clear from the success of this program that our members enjoyed participating in the affordable adventures and outings with their families,” said Patrick Hughes, President and CEO, Fallon Community Health Plan. “This program is all about bringing families together to enjoy activities that promote fun, activity and good health, and we’re very grateful to our partners for offering the generous discounts they’ve made available to FCHP members.”

To participate in Family Fun, Fallon Community Health Plan members must present an FCHP Family Fun 2010 discount coupon and their member ID card at time of purchase. Discount coupons are available on the health plan’s Web site, fchp.org, by clicking on the FCHP Family Fun 2010 link or by calling-1-800-868-5200 tor eceive the coupons by mail. Members are encouraged to check the FCHP Family Fun 2010 Web site and Facebook page periodically as more attracted are expected to be added throughout the year.
