David T. Przesiek, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer
As Fallon Health’s Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer, David Przesiek is responsible for new business, retention sales, market research, business and product development, and UltraBenefits, Inc., Fallon’s third-party administrator.
Przesiek, who has an accomplished background in benefits administration, joined Fallon in 2010 as Vice President of Self-Funded Administration. Prior to joining Fallon, he served on the senior leadership team of HealthSmart, a national third party administrator in Dallas. In this role, Przesiek realigned their re-insurance acquisition strategy, helped rebrand the company, and spearheaded their private label administrative services product, which garnered HealthSmart’s largest commercial account. Previously, he served as President of Medical Claims Service (MCS) in Quincy, Mass., where he successfully expanded the geographic footprint of MCS, introduced new product lines, and led the acquisition of two companies, resulting in the doubling of the company’s size and the subsequent sale of MCS to Excellus, a leading Blue Cross entity in New York. Przesiek started his career at North American Health Plans in various sales roles, leading to his position as Senior Vice President of Sales, and was an integral part of the senior leadership team that helped create the largest administrator in the Northeast.
A graduate of Canisius College, Przesiek holds a master of business administration degree in health care management and an undergraduate degree in marketing and management from Saint Bonaventure University. He is a member of the Society of Professional Benefits Administrators, the Self Insurance Institute of America and the New England Employee Benefits Council. In addition, Przesiek is on the boards of Alternatives Inc., the March of Dimes, 495 Partnership, Worcester Economic Club, and The Lowell Plan.
Przesiek lives in Manchester, Mass., with his wife and three children and is active in various community roles.
