Support for caregivers

At Summit ElderCare, we supplement the support you receive from your caregivers. Our goal is to help them continue to care for you, even as your needs change. We are familiar with the challenges that can arise and do our best to alleviate them—so you can continue to live at home, as independently and as long as possible.

Through Summit ElderCare, your caregivers can receive resources that complement and add to the care they are already providing.

We offer caregivers a variety of support:

  • Individualized consultation on your care plans
  • care team that works closely with you and your caregivers to meet your health and personal needs
  • 24-hour telephone access for emergencies and unexpected situations
  • Caregiver support groups
  • Respite
  • Home health and homemaker services
  • Adult day health services with social, recreational and therapeutic activities to support your independence

It is important to us to have a clear understanding of your caregivers’ needs—and the work, family and personal responsibilities they are balancing. Having a good working relationship with your caregivers enables us to better support them as they help you continue to live at home.
