W. Patrick Hughes, Division President, Health Plan Operations

Pat Hughes joined Fallon Community Health Plan in 2007 with extensive experience in sales, marketing and strategic business planning within the insurance industry.

Hughes came on board at FCHP as Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, responsible for implementing and executing FCHP’s marketing and sales strategy in New England. At the end of 2007, he assumed the new role of Division President, Health Plan Operations, which consists of those departments that perform operational functions that support net new profitable growth. Steering the company in this goal, he continues to provide strong leadership for FCHP’s sales, service and advocacy initiatives.

A ten-year veteran of the National Football League, Hughes holds a B.S. degree from Boston University, and is a member of the university’s Scarlet Key Society and the B.U. athletic Hall of Fame.
