Fallon Community Health Plan appoints Katherine H. Metzger to Executive Director of NaviCare
Worcester, Mass., October 26, 2009― Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP), a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health care services organization, announces the appointment of Katherine H. Metzger to Executive Director of NaviCareSM. In this role, she will be responsible for the management of FCHP’s state and federal contractual responsibilities, product membership and financials.
Metzger previously held the position of Senior Director for FCHP’s Medicare and Medicaid Programs. Prior to her work at FCHP, she served as the Consulting Director for the Central Massachusetts Business Group on Health, a coalition of companies that was collaboratively working to address health care quality and cost issues that they faced in offering health care coverage to their employees.
Metzger received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Elmira College in Elmira, New York, and received a master’s degree in health administration from Clark University in Worcester, Mass.
A resident of Westborough, she currently serves on the board of directors for the Genesis Club, a non-profit that provides support for people with chronic mental illness.
