Fallon Community Health Plan appoints Jeannette M. Frey to Privacy Officer

Worcester, Mass., September 10, 2007― Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP), a nationally recognized health care services organization is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeannette M. Frey to Privacy Officer. In this position, Frey will serve as the company’s primary resource for questions related to privacy and confidentiality as they pertain to FCHP and its employees, customers, vendors and business partners.

Frey comes to FCHP from Tufts Health Plan, where she most recently served as a staff attorney. At Tufts Health Plan, she worked on a variety of legal matters and specialized in privacy-related topics. Prior to her position as staff attorney, Frey served as the health plan’s privacy officer. Frey has also worked in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and at Massachusetts General Hospital.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Health Services from Ithaca College, and graduated cum laude with a juris doctor in Health and Biomedical Law from Suffolk University Law School.

A resident of Melrose, Mass., Frey served as past co-chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals Boston KnowledgeNet.
