Fallon Community Health Plan expands affordable FCHP Direct Care network to include Cape Ann Medical Center
Worcester, Mass., April 14, 2009—In response to a growing trend toward the need for more affordable health care options, Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP) has announced it has expanded its innovative and cost-effective FCHP Direct Care network to include physicians affiliated with Cape Ann Medical Center.
FCHP Direct Care is a popular choice for those who want access to a high-quality network of providers through health insurance coverage that can save up to 13% over similar HMO products. The FCHP Direct Care network also includes Acton Medical Associates, Charles River Medical Associates, Fallon Clinic, Highland Healthcare Associates IPA, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Lahey Clinic, Lawrence General Independent Practice, Lawrence General Hospital, Lowell General Physician Hospital Organization, Mount Auburn Hospital, Mount Auburn Cambridge IPA, Northeast Physician Hospital Organization, Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, Signature Healthcare Goddard Park Medical Associates, Southboro Medical Group and Woburn Pediatrics.

Located in Gloucester, Cape Ann Medical Center is a medical group that provides internal medicine and cardiology care, as well as X-ray services and bone density screenings. In addition, the center offers the convenience of an on-site laboratory and same-day appointments for all of its patients. Cape Ann Medical Center is open 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for urgent care. The center was founded by Walter O’Donnell, M.D., in 1970, and is currently part of the Partners Community Healthcare, Inc., (PCHI) network.
