Mini clinics
What are mini clinics?
Mini clinics are walk-in clinics that offer an alternative to emergency rooms for common sicknesses like strep throat, bronchitis, cold/flu, minor burns, rashes, and ear, eye, bladder and sinus infections.
Mini clinics are especially convenient when you need to see a doctor during weekend or evening hours. And you don't need an appointment – you can walk right in.
Am I covered when I go to a mini clinic?
Mini clinic services are covered for all FCHP commercial and MassHealth members. Most members will pay the same copay that they would pay for a regular doctor’s office visit. FCHP MassHealth members don't have to pay a copay when they visit a mini clinic.
FCHP encourages you to first contact your doctor for medical care. If you do visit a mini clinic for care, be sure to follow up with your doctor.
