Once baby arrives, you may be busier than ever! Which is why we want to remind you to do something good for yourself: schedule a postpartum visit with your doctor or midwife three to eight weeks after your delivery.

Postpartum check-up

Your check-up after delivery is as important to you as the prenatal visits were to the health of your new baby. A check-up three to eight weeks after the delivery is the most appropriate time for your doctor or midwife to assess your physical and emotional needs. Many of the changes you may experience after the delivery are most likely to occur at this time. It's also a good time to get information about exercise, nutrition and family planning
